A Celebration of Regional Arts

Contemporary sculpture, paintings and more will be on display, and for sale, in a newly remodeled 5,000 square foot space at the Hawley Silk Mill this summer. The “Art on the Edge” exhibit, curated by Rocky Pinciotti and hosted by the Wayne County Arts Alliance, is free for everyone to enjoy from July 2-Sept 3 during the hours of 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.

The exhibit will feature the most dynamic pieces from the roster of represented artists and will offer an informed cross section of what is happening now in regional contemporary art. Art on the Edge provides a sophisticated yet accessible environment for art collectors, patrons of the arts, and families alike to enjoy.

In addition to the exhibit, Art on the Edge will be featuring a weekly series of special events on Friday and Saturday nights which will include the “Creative Cocktail Hour” and French Woods Performing Arts specials. Art on the Edge Visitor Information

The Art on the Edge exhibit will be taking place at the Hawley Silk Mill located in Hawley, PA. The village of Hawley and the surrounding Lake Region is brimming with natural beauty, antiques stores, specialty shops and exciting community activities. The Hawley Silk Mill, located about 2 miles from Lake Wallenpaupack, is the largest laid bluestone building in the world and has a unique and rich history. Today the Silk Mill is a vibrant center of commerce offering education, history, and continuing cultural and economic growth for the Hawley community.
